Surimi

Created by Japanese chefs in the 12th Century as a means of preserving the fishing catch, Surimi was further developed in the 1960’s stabilising the product and, by freezing, preserving the shelf life even longer. Often under-rated and sometimes referred to as ‘imitation’ seafood our surimi is fully MSC certified and is available in retail ‘stick’ format or salad flake.
